Who does this?

Today I decided to clean out my frig.  I've been pretty good about keeping the frig clean and decluttered.  So I'm cleaning out the frig and nothing is where I usually keep it.  I'm only a tad OCD.  Not too much, but just enough to bug me when certain things aren't where I think they should go.  Such as all the salad dressing in one spot in the door of the frig, medicines that need refrigeration goes in another section, pickles, mayo and mustard have their own section on the shelve.  But what I noticed that bugged me the most was 1/2 an onion put into a pie piece Tupperware container.  Who does this I asked myself..... my boys.  I put 1/2 of an onion in the onion keeper.  Pie goes into the pie container.

There is very little where the OCD shows up.  Such as the dirty dishes goes into a certain place in the dishwasher.  Cans have a certain place in the pantry, box stuff, and drink stuff as well.  But other things it doesn't show up as much as I sometimes wish it would.  My school desk, in our classroom, is messy at best.  I know where everything is, but to someone else, it's a mess.  My computer desk has stacks of work on it, but I know what is in each stack.

I have a couple of friends who are OCD to the extreme.  When I had a rock painting class, one of them would almost get upset when I would say, "Ok, this is a good stopping point."  To them, a good stopping point was when we were finished painting the rock.  Another friend washes every dish by hand in soapy water, rinses the dish, then puts it in the dishwasher in its spot.  Yet another friend cleans and cleans and cleans her already clean house.  I mean she 409's her counter tops when she cleans the kitchen, before she goes to bed, and when she first wakes up in the morning and several times in a day.  I guess there is a balance somewhere I want to be.

I also  have friends who are the extreme opposite.  One friend who not only never cleans, she also hardly does laundry.  She will to out to buy socks and underware before she will do laundry.  YUCK, huh?  So there has to be a middle somewhere.

Tomorrow is another day.  :)

Be a blessing all!

Just some of my thoughts,
Elizabeth
