Accountability

I have battled a weight problem for the better part of 20 years.  About 2 1/2 to 3 years ago, I decided to try something new one more time.  I have tried weight watchers, along with various different fad type diets.  I picked up a book at a thrift store, The Adkins Diet.  I read it and decided to try one more time.  On October 18th, I started eating mostly protein and only 20 carbs a day.  In less than a year, I lost 68 pounds.  Kept it off for several months.  Then in the middle of personal issues, I started eating carbs. 

I went up a pant size or so.  I wasn't too concerned.  Went up some more.  Now I'm back where I started.  And because of potential health problems, I can't stay at this weight. So starting tomorrow, I'm going back on the 20 carb a day plan.  This time, I'm going to gradually add in the carbs back so I can not gain weight back again.  So I'm going to use this blog for accountability as well as general life. 

I'll weigh my self in the morning. I'll keep a record of what I've eaten during the day and let you know just how I'm doing. 

Tomorrow is church, planning for school for Monday, and planning my week for menus and work related schedules as well.  I want to get back on regular routines for other areas of my life as well.
