Peaches.

Good morning world.  Yesterday afternoon I started on the peaches.  I found a new peach preserve recipe to try.  I found it at natashaskitchen.com. It is a slower process than most.  I thought it would be worth the extra time.

I am also wanting to make peach butter.  I make apple butter in the fall using my crock pot.  Why not make peach butter.

Completely lost track of the days.  I am wondering if it is too late for blueberry picking at the blueberry farm.  Blackberries are getting ripe.  I love blackberry picking, even with the ticks and chiggers.  Chiggers do not seem to like me so I really do not worry about them.  Anyway, I am determined to make enough jelly and preserves so I will not have to buy any this year and hopefully not at all.

I still need to get some baking done today as it is not hot at all,  Bread, biscuits, and a peach cobbler has been requested for tonight.  The peach cobbler, not the bread and biscuits.
